1. Billing Structure
Your Subscription and Usage Wallet Are Separate
Your recurring subscription pays for the Customers Plus CRM and the managed services included in your selected plan. Your usage wallet pays for services whose cost changes based on how much they are used.
Recurring subscription
Covers the CRM and the services included in your selected plan, such as Google Ads management, SEO Content, or both.
View Plans & Pricing →Usage wallet
Covers active phone numbers, calls, SMS, MMS, carrier fees, call-recording storage, premium workflow actions, and optional AI usage.
| Billing Type | What It Covers | How It Is Charged |
|---|---|---|
| Recurring subscription | Selected CRM and managed-service plan | Recurring plan price on the scheduled billing date |
| Usage wallet | Phone numbers, calls, SMS, MMS, carrier fees, call-recording storage, premium actions, and optional AI | Deducted from the wallet according to actual enabled usage |
Usage is not unlimited
A recurring plan does not include unlimited phone, SMS, AI, or premium-action usage unless Customers Plus expressly states otherwise in writing.
2. Wallet Overview
How Your Customers Plus Wallet Works
New accounts receive $10 in complimentary starting credit. The default automatic top-up amount begins at $10, and the default recharge threshold begins at $0. You may change both settings inside your account.
Wallet funds pay for usage-based features. Each active phone number's monthly price is deducted from the wallet, along with calls, messages, carrier fees, premium workflow actions, and optional AI usage when those features are enabled and used.
Recommended settings
Recharge amount: $25 • Recharge threshold: $10
These settings are recommended—not required—to reduce the chance that the wallet reaches zero and interrupts calls or messages.
3. Automatic Funding
Automatic Wallet Top-Ups
Threshold reached
Your wallet balance reaches the threshold you selected.
Payment attempted
The payment method on file is charged for your selected top-up amount.
Credit added
A successful charge adds the top-up amount to your wallet.
Usage continues
Active usage charges continue to draw from the funded balance.
By activating or continuing to use wallet-based services, you authorize Customers Plus to charge the payment method on file when your selected threshold is reached. Top-ups are not prorated and are nonrefundable once charged, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
- You are responsible for keeping the payment method current.
- Changing a subscription plan does not automatically disable wallet usage.
- Review active phone numbers, AI tools, and paid workflows before a downgrade or cancellation.
- Unused wallet funds remain available from month to month while the account stays active.
4. Account Visibility
Viewing Your Wallet and Transactions
Your Wallet & Transactions area is intended to show the current balance, wallet top-ups, phone-number charges, calls, SMS activity, AI usage, premium workflow actions, and other itemized usage recorded by the platform.
5. Failed Recharge
What Happens if a Wallet Top-Up Fails
A wallet recharge may be retried up to three times. Customers Plus will notify you when a recharge fails, and a two-day grace period applies before phone, SMS, forwarding, and related notifications may be disabled.
A zero balance can interrupt communications
If the wallet reaches zero and the automatic top-up cannot be completed, calls, text messages, forwarding, and related notifications may stop until the wallet is successfully funded.
A wallet-payment failure does not automatically cancel the CRM subscription or disable the rest of the account. Phone and messaging functionality can resume after a valid payment method is added and the wallet is successfully replenished. Outstanding usage charges remain payable.
Failure to pay the main monthly subscription follows a different process. Review the subscription nonpayment rules in the Cancellation Terms.
6. Core Pricing
Core Phone and Messaging Costs
The prices below are the confirmed Customers Plus usage rates currently approved for publication. “What $10 provides” is approximate and assumes the full $10 is used for only that one item.
*SMS segment: For standard text, one segment is generally up to 160 characters. Longer messages or messages containing certain special characters may use multiple segments.
| Feature | Price | Billing Unit | What $10 Provides |
|---|---|---|---|
| Outbound calls | $0.042 | Per minute | Approximately 240 minutes |
| Inbound calls | $0.0255 | Per minute | Approximately 390 minutes |

| Inbound SMS messages | $0.0249 | Per message segment | Approximately 400 segments |
| Outbound MMS messages | $0.066 | Per message | Approximately 150 messages, before carrier fees |
| Inbound MMS messages | $0.0495 | Per message | Approximately 200 messages, before carrier fees |
| Local phone number | $3.45 | Per number, per month | Two numbers for one month, with about $3.10 remaining for usage |
| Toll-free phone number | $6.45 | Per number, per month | One number for one month, with about $3.55 remaining for usage |
| Toll-free inbound calls | $0.066 | Per minute | Approximately 150 minutes |
| Toll-free outbound calls | $0.042 | Per minute | Approximately 240 minutes |
| Call-recording storage | First 10,000 minutes free; then $0.0015 | Per stored minute, per month after first 10,000 minutes | First 10,000 stored minutes free; then approximately 6,670 additional stored minutes |
| Standard platform email | Included | Currently covered by Customers Plus | No separate wallet deduction for ordinary platform email |
Standard email is currently included and ordinary platform email costs are covered by Customers Plus. This is not a permanent price guarantee; any future separately priced service or provider charge will be disclosed before it is applied.
7. Text Billing
How SMS Segments Are Counted
SMS is billed by message segment, which is not always the same as the single message you see on screen. A short plain-text message may use one segment, while a longer message may be divided into two or more billable segments.
Provider-controlled measurement
Segment counts are determined by the telecommunications provider and message encoding. Customers Plus does not manually determine how many segments a message uses.
8. Network Charges
Carrier and Network Fees
Some SMS traffic may include separate fees imposed by mobile networks such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, or other carriers. These fees do not necessarily apply to every message and may vary by carrier, message type, registration type, or direction.
Carrier fees are different from A2P registration fees. Customers Plus covers the A2P registration, campaign, vetting, and appeal fees described later on this page. Customers remain responsible for carrier usage fees that appear through normal rebilling.
9. Example Usage
What Approximately $10 Can Cover
| Feature | Approximate Amount for $10 |
|---|---|
| Outbound calls | 240 minutes |
| Inbound calls | 390 minutes |
| SMS messages | 400 segments |
| Premium Workflow Actions | 335 executions |
| AI-written content | 37,037 words |
| AI-generated images | 55 images |
| Conversation AI | 165 messages |
| Voice AI | 25 minutes |
| Reviews AI | 335 generated replies |
| Ask AI | 1,579,779 tokens |
Each example stands alone
These figures assume the entire $10 is used for one feature only. A wallet balance is shared across all active phone numbers and enabled usage-based features, so using more than one feature reduces the amount available for the others.
10. Optional Features
Optional Features with Usage Costs
The features below are optional. You do not need to enable every feature to use the Customers Plus CRM. Charges apply when a designated paid action or feature is used. Some options may require configuration or a custom workflow build.
AI costs may vary by model, token use, prompt length, response length, regeneration, and provider pricing. Current examples are not lifetime price guarantees.
11. Optional Workflow Usage
Premium Workflow Actions
An execution is one billable premium action performed by a workflow. One workflow may contain more than one paid action, and repeated contacts or repeated workflow runs may produce additional executions. Standard workflow functions not designated as premium actions may not create this charge.
12. Optional AI Usage
Content AI
AI-Written Content
AI-Generated Images
Regenerating content or images may create additional usage. Customers are responsible for reviewing AI output for factual accuracy, legal compliance, licensing concerns, brand suitability, and accuracy before publishing. AI output is not guaranteed to be unique, complete, accurate, or error-free.
13. Optional AI Models
Workflow External AI Models
AI Model Input
AI Model Output
AI providers bill by tokens, not exact word counts
Word figures are approximate illustrations converted from token-based usage. Actual cost depends on the selected model, tokens consumed, prompt length, output length, and provider price.
14. Optional Conversation Tools
Conversation and Voice AI
Conversation AI Messages
Voice AI Calls
One AI conversation may involve multiple billable messages. Conversation AI may also create ordinary SMS segment or carrier charges where texting is involved. Voice calls may be rounded or measured according to provider rules, and rates may vary with model use.
15. Optional Review Tools
Reviews AI
AI-Generated Review Reply
This charge applies to generating an AI review response, not to receiving a review. Review-request sending is not part of this specific AI price. Regenerating or producing multiple response options may create additional usage depending on platform behavior.
16. Optional CRM Support
Ask AI
Ask AI Token Usage
Tokens are measurement units for AI input and output and do not directly equal words. Long prompts, large data requests, lengthy responses, and conversations that include prior context may use more tokens. The displayed $10 estimate is approximate.
17. At-a-Glance Pricing
Optional Usage Pricing Summary

| Content AI — images | Per image | $0.18 | Approximately 55 images | Review output before publishing. |
| Workflow AI input | Approx. 750,000 words | $1.80 | Approx. 4,166,667 words | Actual billing is token- and model-based. |

| Voice AI | Per minute | $0.39 | Approximately 25 minutes | Additional telephony treatment is pending final confirmation. |
| Reviews AI | Per generated reply | $0.03 | Approximately 335 replies | Receiving a review does not create this AI charge. |
| Ask AI | Per 1,000,000 tokens | $6.33 | Approximately 1,579,779 tokens | Token use varies by request and context. |
18. Messaging Compliance
A2P Registration and Messaging Compliance
A2P registration is required for many business text-message use cases in the United States. It helps carriers identify legitimate business messaging and generally includes a business or brand registration and a messaging campaign registration.
Customers Plus handles the submission and listed fees
For active customers, Customers Plus manages the registration submission process and covers the A2P brand, campaign, vetting, resubmission, and appeal fees listed below.
Registration does not guarantee that every message will be delivered. Carriers may filter messages because of content, consent records, complaint rates, prohibited use, network rules, or other compliance concerns. Customers must provide accurate information and follow opt-in, opt-out, and messaging requirements.
19. Costs We Cover

| Toll-free verification | No standard verification fee identified | $0 | Submission assistance |
Standard Brand totals have appeared at approximately $44–$46 in provider materials. The approximate $46 figure reflects a $4.50 brand registration component and standard secondary vetting. Typical monthly examples include about $1.50 for Low-Volume Mixed, $2 for Sole Proprietor, and commonly about $10 for Standard campaigns.
Registration fees are different from usage charges
Customers Plus covers the listed A2P registration and compliance fees. Customers remain responsible for normal phone, SMS, MMS, and carrier usage charges. Provider fees may change.
20. Customer Cooperation
What Customers Must Provide for Messaging Approval
- Legal business name, tax identification details where required, address, and website
- Privacy Policy and Terms page
- Messaging use case and representative sample messages
- Opt-in method, opt-out language, and HELP response language
- Authorized representative information and other provider-requested documentation
- Use the approved messaging use case and obtain valid consent
- Maintain consent records and honor STOP or other opt-out requests
- Avoid prohibited content, purchased contact lists, and misleading sender identification
- Notify Customers Plus when the business name, website, messaging purpose, or consent flow changes
Inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information may delay approval, cause rejection, or restrict messaging.
21. Illustrative Comparison
Customers Plus Tracking Numbers vs. Traditional Phone Options
Customers Plus uses a low monthly number price plus actual usage. Traditional office and mobile plans commonly use a higher fixed monthly line price, often with bundled calling or mobile data. The best value depends on how the number will be used.
| Comparison Point | Customers Plus Tracking Number | Major Office-Line Provider Example | Major Mobile Provider Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base monthly price | $3.45 per local number, plus actual usage | Verizon Business Digital Voice: $35 per standalone VoIP line; $20 when bundled with qualifying Fios | AT&T Standard 3.0: $50 for one line; Verizon My Biz: $65 for one line with Auto Pay; T-Mobile CoreMobile: $65 for one line |
| Calling model | Inbound and outbound minutes billed by actual use | Unlimited nationwide calling included in the cited plan | Unlimited talk and text included in the cited plans |
| Separate device required | No separate physical phone required | May require compatible IP or analog phone equipment | Normally requires a compatible mobile device |
| CRM contact records and conversation history | Integrated when configured | Separate system or integration may be needed | Separate system or integration may be needed |
| Call tracking and lead attribution | Available when configured | Depends on plan and external tools | Usually requires separate software |
| Missed-call text back and workflows | Available through CRM automation | May require add-on or external platform | May require app or external platform |
| Shared team access | Desktop and mobile CRM access | Plan-dependent | Typically centered on one device or assigned line |
| A2P submission assistance and listed fees | Handled and covered | Not generally applicable to voice-only line | Business texting tools and compliance vary |
| Contract or pricing conditions | Governed by the active Customers Plus plan and these usage terms | Cited standalone Verizon price requires a two-year contract | Taxes, fees, AutoPay, line-count, device, or promotional conditions may apply |
| Number transfer | Eligible numbers may be transferred subject to provider requirements | Subject to provider eligibility and process | Subject to provider eligibility and process |
Actual savings depend on usage
For businesses with modest call and message usage, a usage-based number may cost less than adding another fixed-price office or mobile line. Higher usage may change the comparison, and no savings amount is guaranteed.
22. Integrated System
More Than a Standalone Phone Line
A Customers Plus tracking number may support the following functions when they are configured and available under the customer's plan:
- CRM contact records
- Call tracking and recording
- Conversation history
- Shared team access
- SMS from the CRM
- Missed-call text back
- Lead-source attribution
- Pipeline automation
- Appointment workflows
- Form and website integration
- Reporting
- Multiple campaign numbers
- Desktop and mobile access
- Eligible number transfers
Feature availability depends on account configuration, selected plan, user permissions, compliance approval, provider availability, and active integrations.
23. Pricing Updates
Usage Rates May Change
Customers Plus may update usage rates when telecommunications, carrier, AI-provider, compliance, or other upstream costs change. Rates may also decrease when lower provider costs become available, but no rate reduction is guaranteed.
New usage-based features may be added, and model-specific AI rates may change. Customers Plus may update this page and the Last Updated date and may provide notice through email, SMS, in-app notices, billing notices, or the website when reasonably practical. Continued use after an updated rate becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated rate, subject to applicable law.
24. Final Service Period
What Happens to Usage Billing When You Cancel
The wallet remains active while account access and phone functions remain active. Calls, messages, phone numbers, AI, and premium workflow actions may continue creating charges through the final service date. Outstanding usage charges remain payable after cancellation.
- Disable unneeded phone numbers, AI tools, and paid workflows before the final date where appropriate.
- Phone numbers must be transferred separately from the CRM sub-account.
- A2P approvals do not transfer.
- The receiving phone-provider account must be connected to the transferred CRM account.
- Customers Plus does not charge a transfer-assistance fee, although outside providers may charge their own fees.
Unused balance policy is pending final review
Top-ups are nonrefundable and unused funds roll over while the account remains active. The final treatment of an unused wallet balance after complete account cancellation must be confirmed before publication.
25. Number Porting
Phone Numbers and Transfers
Phone numbers are provisioned through the Customers Plus communications system and its provider. You pay the monthly number price while a number remains active and may request assistance transferring an eligible number to another provider.
- Porting depends on the receiving provider's eligibility and documentation requirements.
- Account details, authorization, ownership verification, and processing time may be required.
- Do not cancel or release the number before the transfer completes.
- Not every number can be transferred in every circumstance.
- A2P registration does not transfer; the receiving provider may require a new registration.
- Calls and messages may be interrupted during an incomplete or failed transfer.
26. Usage Records
Reviewing Usage Charges
Usage records are generated by the platform and underlying providers. Review wallet activity regularly and report questions promptly with the date, feature, amount, phone number, and relevant call or message information where appropriate.
Customers Plus may rely on provider logs when investigating a charge. Small differences may occur because of rounding, SMS segmentation, call-time measurement, token measurement, or delayed provider reporting. Report suspected unauthorized activity immediately.
27. Acceptable Use
Prohibited Phone and Messaging Use
Phone, SMS, AI, and workflow features may not be used for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or provider-prohibited activity, including:
- Spam or unlawful marketing
- Fraud, phishing, or malware
- Harassment or threats
- Purchased contact lists
- Deceptive caller identification
- Unauthorized robocalling or automated texts
- Prohibited products or services
- Circumventing carrier controls
- Artificially generating usage
- Activity that threatens platform or carrier access
Customers Plus may suspend communications functionality when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, comply with law, follow carrier or provider instructions, protect the platform, or address unpaid wallet usage. General acceptable-use rules are included in the main Terms of Service.
28. External Providers
Telecom, Carrier, and AI Provider Limitations
Customers Plus relies on telecommunications providers, mobile carriers, Twilio or similar communications infrastructure, HighLevel, AI-model providers, email providers, payment processors, and other integrated platforms.
- Carrier filtering, spam labeling, caller-ID presentation, and message delivery
- Network or platform outages and external account restrictions
- AI-model availability and token-price changes
- Phone-number inventory and transfer timelines
- A2P, toll-free, or other verification timelines
Customers Plus will make reasonable efforts to help resolve issues within its control, but cannot guarantee outcomes controlled exclusively by an outside provider.
