Upgrade
Add Google Ads, SEO Content, or both. The upgraded plan begins on the next billing date, followed by the applicable onboarding timeline.
Customers Plus Plan Changes
These terms explain how to add or remove Customers Plus services, when a plan change takes effect, how billing is handled, and what happens to service-specific assets, reporting, websites, landing pages, phone features, and proprietary systems when a plan changes.
These Plan-Change Terms supplement the Customers Plus Terms of Service and the Service Terms. A downgrade is not the same as a full cancellation, and a plan change is not complete until the official request is reviewed and confirmed.
Plan-change summary
Upgrades begin on the next billing date. Downgrades begin after the current paid billing period ends. Existing services continue through that paid period, processed payments are nonrefundable, and service-specific systems or assets may be removed when the lower plan begins. Review and prepare for those changes before the effective date.
Choose the Right Request
Start with the outcome you need. The correct request protects your access, data, service history, purchased assets, and active integrations.
Add Google Ads, SEO Content, or both. The upgraded plan begins on the next billing date, followed by the applicable onboarding timeline.
Remove one or more managed services while keeping an eligible Customers Plus account active under a lower plan.
End the CRM account and all active services after the final paid period. Transfer and data-retention rules apply.
Preserve an eligible account without normal access under the one-time account-hold option described in the Cancellation Terms.
Detailed Plan-Change Terms
Use the navigation below to move directly to the timing, service, or asset question you need to review.
1. Official Request Process
A plan change must be submitted through the official Customers Plus upgrade/downgrade form and confirmed by Customers Plus. An informal email, text message, verbal request, or partial discussion does not by itself complete a plan change unless Customers Plus expressly confirms the change in writing.
Compare current pricing, included services, and the Service Terms.
Use the official upgrade/downgrade request form linked on this page.
Select the current plan and the requested new plan.
Identify landing pages, tracking, phone numbers, reporting, websites, or other items requiring transition planning.
Provide accurate account and billing details and submit the completed form.
Monitor email, SMS, and account communications for questions and the confirmed effective date.
Downgrade notice and form deadlines
To have a downgrade processed before the next scheduled subscription payment, Customers Plus must receive written notice of the intended downgrade at least 72 hours before the next payment. The completed official upgrade/downgrade form must be submitted no later than 48 hours before the next payment to allow sufficient time to review the request and update the subscription amount before billing. Written notice alone does not complete the downgrade; the official form and Customers Plus confirmation are still required.
2. Upgrade Effective Date
The customer continues under the current plan until the next scheduled billing date. On that date, the new recurring plan price begins and the upgraded service becomes active for onboarding and delivery. The billing effective date and the launch date of a campaign, website, or content service are not necessarily the same.
The customer requests the new plan.
Customers Plus confirms the plan and next billing date.
Existing services remain in place until the billing date.
The new plan price is charged and the upgraded plan begins.
Access, information, tracking, website, budget, and compliance requirements are completed.
Delivery follows the timelines in the Service Terms.
Plan activation is not instant service launch
Campaign setup, website production, content preparation, approvals, and third-party verification may continue after the upgraded billing cycle begins.

3. Downgrade Effective Date
A confirmed downgrade takes effect when the current paid billing period ends. The current plan and managed services remain active through that period. Service-specific functionality, reporting, landing pages, tracking, snapshots, or other infrastructure may be removed after the period ends and the lower plan begins.
The customer requests the lower plan.
Customers Plus confirms the affected services and effective date.
The existing plan remains active through the paid period.
Export, purchase, transfer, or replace affected assets and systems.
The removed service and related management stop.
The new lower recurring price and included feature set apply.
No immediate removal
Submitting a downgrade does not immediately stop the current managed service. It remains available through the already paid period, subject to the normal service scope.
Late downgrade requests may not change the next charge
If the required 72-hour written notice or 48-hour form-submission deadline is missed, Customers Plus may not have sufficient time to update the subscription before the next automatic payment. In that case, the full current subscription amount may be charged for the upcoming billing period.
4. Billing Treatment
Late downgrade requests and refunds
If the current higher subscription amount is charged because the required written notice and completed downgrade form were not received within the stated deadlines, the difference between the higher plan and the requested lower plan is not eligible for a partial refund or prorated credit. Other refund requests, where applicable, are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
Changing plans does not automatically stop usage billing
Review active phone numbers, wallet settings, AI features, call tracking, and premium workflow actions. They may continue creating charges until separately removed, disabled, or transferred.
5. Current Service Plans
The core Customers Plus CRM is incorporated into the displayed recurring service plans. Current public pricing and inclusions remain subject to the Plans and Pricing page.
Premium + Google Ads
$397 / month
Premium + SEO Content
$397 / month
Premium + Google Ads + SEO
$797 / month
Grandfathered CRM-only downgrade
A $97/month CRM-only plan remains available solely as a downgrade option for grandfathered Customers Plus clients whose original account began before July 1, 2026. This plan is not available to new customers or accounts established on or after July 1, 2026.
Current public terms control
Pricing, features, promotional inclusions, and bonuses may change. Review the current Plans and Pricing page before submitting a request.
6. Adding Services
Common upgrade paths include moving from either single-service plan to the combined plan, or moving from an eligible lower CRM plan into Google Ads, SEO Content, or the combined plan.
7. New-Service Setup
Adding a service may require updated business information, approvals, budget confirmation, platform access, domain access, payment information, A2P completion, logos, images, offers, service areas, and tracking connections.
Timelines are estimates
Customer delays, missing access, domain problems, policy reviews, A2P, platform restrictions, and third-party verification may extend setup.
8. Adding SEO Content
Recurring SEO Content is designed to be researched, written, formatted, and published to a qualifying Customers Plus website.
The Website Build Service is a separate one-time purchase. It is not financed or automatically included in the recurring SEO subscription.
9. Removing Services
The removed managed service stops after the current paid period. Customer-owned data may remain in the active CRM account when the new plan includes CRM access, but service-specific management, landing pages, tracking, reporting connections, snapshots, workflows, and other proprietary infrastructure may be removed.
A lower plan may work differently
Downgrading can remove infrastructure that supported the former service even when the customer-owned account or underlying data remains available.
10. Removing Google Ads Management
| Asset or Function | Treatment | What to Do |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ads account | Customer retains | Confirm continued customer administrative access. |
| Campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and ads | Customer retains | Choose a new manager or prepare to manage the account directly. |
| Historical Google Ads data | Customer retains | Download any additional reports desired before the service ends. |
| Ongoing management and optimization | Stops | Confirm who will manage budgets, bids, search terms, ads, and policy issues. |
| Managed conversion actions | May be removed or disconnected | Arrange replacement conversion tracking. |
| Google Tag Manager and Analytics setup | May be removed or disconnected | Install or transfer replacement tracking before the effective date. |
| Included Google Ads landing pages | Removed unless purchased | Purchase desired pages for $197 each before service removal. |
| Call-tracking numbers | Removed unless transferred | Transfer eligible numbers to another compatible phone provider. |
| Reporting connections and Google Ads Snapshot | May be removed | Export relevant reports and replace dashboards if needed. |
| Customers Plus automations and tracking systems | Removed | Replace any workflows or integrations required after the downgrade. |
Campaigns may continue spending
Customers Plus stops managing the account when the service ends. The customer is responsible for pausing, budgeting, or managing campaigns after that date. Customers Plus is not responsible for post-downgrade performance or spend.
11. Removing SEO Content
Previously published content is not automatically removed from a separately purchased website. Future content production ends, and Customers Plus does not guarantee that rankings, indexing, traffic, or leads will remain unchanged after service removal.
12. Combined-Plan Downgrades
Combined → Google Ads
Combined → SEO Content
Combined → Lower CRM Plan
13. Reporting
14. Underlying Account
A downgrade does not necessarily close the Customers Plus account. If the confirmed lower plan includes CRM access, eligible customer-owned data remains available under that plan. The exact retained software feature set depends on the final lower plan, while proprietary components tied to a removed managed service may still be removed.
15. Website Assets
| Asset Type | Ownership | Downgrade Treatment | Price / Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Separately purchased Website Build Service | Customer-owned | Remains available where the active plan supports hosting; can transfer with a compatible sub-account. | $1,597 one time |
| Included Google Ads landing page | Included service asset, not automatically customer-owned | May be removed when Google Ads management ends. | Purchase for $197 per page to retain |
| Separately purchased Google Ads landing page | Customer-owned | May remain in the account or transfer with a compatible sub-account. | No additional ownership purchase after payment |
| Domain | Customer-owned | Remains the customer’s responsibility to register, renew, and connect. | Domain-provider charges are separate |
If the CRM account remains active under a qualifying plan, a separately purchased website may continue to be hosted. If the customer later fully cancels the CRM, a transfer or separate hosting arrangement may be required.
16. Usage-Based Features
A subscription plan change does not automatically eliminate separately metered usage. Active phone numbers, calls, SMS, carrier charges, optional AI, and premium workflow actions may continue creating wallet charges while enabled and used.
Usage remains the customer’s responsibility
Charges continue while a feature remains active, even if the managed service that originally used it is being removed.
17. Customer Property
A plan downgrade does not transfer ownership of customer-owned information or separately purchased assets to Customers Plus. Continued access depends on the new active plan and the platform capabilities it includes.
18. Customers Plus Property
Service access is a limited right to use Customers Plus systems during the applicable active plan. It does not transfer ownership. When a related service is removed, Customers Plus may remove or disconnect the systems used to deliver that service.
The lower plan may not function identically to the former plan. The customer may need to replace forms, tracking, workflows, automations, reporting, call routing, dashboards, or other removed functionality.
Plan access is not ownership
Using a snapshot, workflow, automation, tracking system, or template during a subscription does not give the customer a permanent ownership right to that system.

| Request Type | Best For | Effective Date | Account Remains Open | Current Services Continue | Data Deletion |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Upgrade | Adding services | Next billing date | Yes | Yes | No |
| Downgrade | Removing some services | End of current paid period | Usually, if the new plan includes CRM | Yes, through current period | No, while account remains active |
| Full cancellation | Ending CRM and all services | End of final paid period after approval | No | Yes, through final paid period | Yes, after retention if no transfer |
| Account hold | Temporarily preserving the account | Per approved hold request | Preserved but inaccessible | Paused | No during approved hold |
Do not fully cancel just to remove one service
If you intend to keep the CRM or another managed service, use the plan-change form instead of the full cancellation form.
22. Avoiding Service Gaps
Where a removed service supports daily operations or lead generation, arrange replacement systems before the effective date.
Customers Plus may provide reasonable transition information, but transition assistance does not transfer proprietary systems or make Customers Plus responsible for replacement-provider setup.
Official Request
Review the current plans, confirm what will be added or removed, prepare for affected assets, submit the official form, and continue using the current plan until the confirmed effective date.
23. Frequently Asked Questions
The upgraded plan begins on the next billing date. Setup and launch may continue after that date under the Service Terms.
The lower plan begins after the current paid period ends. The existing plan remains active through that period.
No prorated refund or credit is provided because the current service remains active through the already paid period, subject to applicable law.
Use the official plan-change form. Another request method is effective only if Customers Plus expressly confirms it in writing.
The customer-owned account, campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads, and history remain. Management, tracking, included landing pages, reporting connections, and proprietary systems may be removed.
Customers Plus-managed Tag Manager, Analytics, conversion actions, or related tracking may be removed or disconnected when Google Ads management ends. Arrange replacement tracking before the downgrade date.
Included managed landing pages may be removed. A customer may purchase an included page for $197 to retain it.
Eligible call-tracking numbers must be transferred separately to another provider. A2P approvals do not transfer and may need to be completed again.
Previously published pages remain on a separately purchased website. Future monthly production and SEO service work stop after the final paid period.
The website remains customer-owned. Continued hosting under every possible lower plan is pending final policy confirmation; transfer remains available with a compatible sub-account.
Reporting tied to the removed service stops. Customer-owned platform data may remain, while Customers Plus dashboards and proprietary reporting connections may be removed.
No. Usage charges may continue while phone numbers, workflows, and optional AI features remain active. Review them separately.
Service-specific or proprietary automations, workflows, snapshots, reporting connections, and integrations may be removed when the related service ends.
An eligible lower CRM plan is anticipated, but its final public name, price, and exact feature list are pending confirmation.
A future upgrade may be requested through the official form, subject to current plan availability, pricing, onboarding, and any setup requirements in effect at that time.
Not when the account remains active under a lower CRM plan. Service-specific systems may be removed, but full account deletion is governed by the Cancellation Terms.
Export reporting and any information tied to a service or proprietary connection that will be removed. Core customer data may remain where the lower plan supports it.
No. A downgrade removes selected services while keeping an eligible account active. Full cancellation ends the CRM and all services after the final paid period.
Yes. A qualifying Customers Plus website is required unless Customers Plus approves a different arrangement in writing. The current Website Build Service is $1,597 one time.
